Sungwon Medical announced on February 1 that it donated intravascular tubes and catheters through a business agreement with Sungwon Medical and Guido Valadares National Hospital of East Timor National Hospital at the CEO's office of Sungwon Medical's Chungbuk headquarters.

Sungwon Medical CEO Lee Dae-hee and Guido Valadares National Hospital Dr. Sidonio Joao da Silva Pereira attended the signing ceremony and officials from Chungnam National University were also present.

Lee Dae-hee, CEO of Sungwon Medical, said, "Overseas medical support not only realizes the value of humanity for the health and welfare of local residents, but also expands opportunities for joint research and development of medical technology with local medical staff."

Guido Valadares National Hospital is the only national hospital in East Timor and is located in Dili, the capital of East Timor. To play a pivotal role in specialized high-quality treatment for emergency and emergency pediatric patients and in the national response to sporadic outbreaks of diseases that greatly affect public health, including dengue and cholera, it was established in 1982 by the Indonesian East Timor administration and is known in English as Dili National Hospital.

Meanwhile, Sungwon Medical is a medical device production and development company that succeeded in localizing the first Central Venous Catheter (C.V.C.) and Drainage Catheter in Korea, and is working as a global medical company through various industry-academia cooperation and technology development.
